Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. 

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag 

Roll call:  Present:  Short, D. Boulier, M. Boulier, Acciavatti, Karadimas
                 Absent:  Cataldo, Cunningham, Westrick, Dembinski 

Motion by Acciavatti to approve agenda as presented.  Seconded by D. Boulier. Motion carried unanimously.

 Motion by M. Boulier to approve minutes of the May 12, 2011 meeting as presented.  Seconded by Acciavatti.  Motion carried unanimously.

 New Business:

           

            Amend regulations pertaining to Class B non-conforming structures           

            B.Bayly  - Section 10.8.3 – reconstruction of structures to exclude
            residential structures as long as they stay with the current footprint of the home.
            This would enable residents to rebuild if a structure is destroyed by more than
            50% due to fire, damage, etc.   

            Motion by M. Boulier hold public hearing on July 14, 2011 during regular meeting to
            amend Class B Non-conforming regulations.  Seconded by Acciavatti
            Motion carried unanimously.

 Old Business: 

            Accessory structure ordinance.  B. Bayly the change will be in the rural district
            if you want to build before the home a $5,000 guarantee will be required and a
            valid building permit for the principle structure.  You must have (5) or more acres
            to qualify.   

            Motion by M. Boulier to set public hearing to amend Accessory Structure ordinance
            during regular meeting on July 14, 2011.  Seconded by Acciavatti.  Motion carried
            unanimously.

Call from the Floor:
 
            None

 Reports:

             M.Boulier – Township Board – approved 2011-2012 Budget, approved safety door in
            lobby, approved ditching throughout the Township, tabled meeting date change. 

            F.Short – No meeting 

 Call from the Table: 

            Have we heard anything from the equestrian project on Allington Rd.  B.Bayly – they
            have let the construction go.  They originally had a date scheduled for an event, but it was
            cancelled. 

            Bike path updates:  No progress at this time on M-29, discussion on Cox Road. 

            Next meeting July 14, 2011 – 7:00 p.m.
