1. Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. 

2. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag 

3. Roll call:  Present:  Short, Cunningham, D. Boulier, M. Boulier, Dembinski, Silk, Cataldo,  Acciavatti         
                    Absent:  Kays

            Also in attendance – Bryan Bayly, Township Building Inspector
 

4. Motion by Cataldo to approve agenda as presented.  Seconded by Cunningham.  Motion carried. 

5. Approval of February 11, 2010 Meeting Minutes – No minutes available, will approve at next meeting. 

6. Correspondence/Communications: 

            D. Knight Kennel Ordinance  

7. New Business

             Land Split – Patrick Shafer – 5819 Rattle Run Rd.  Motion by D. Boulier to approve land
            split as presented.  Seconded by Silk.  Motion carried unanimously.

             Land Split – Duffmore Properties – 1775 River Rd. – Discussion held regarding buildings
            on property, not adequate road frontage.  Motion by Acciavatti Duffmore properties take
            request to Board of Zoning Appeals with Planning Commission support.  Roll call:  Yes
            Short, Cunningham, M. Boulier, J. Dembinski, Silk, Cataldo.  No – Cunningham, D.
            Boulier.  Motion carried.

             Tree Preservation/Clear Cutting Ordinance - Discussion held regarding creation of a Tree
            Preservation/Clear Cutting Ordinance.  Consensus of Planning Commission to have
            Cataldo get ordinance started and look at it next meeting.  Roll call:  Yes – Short,
            Cataldo, Silk, Cunningham, Dembinski.  No – Acciavatti, M. Boulier, D. Boulier.
            Motion carried.

 Old Business: 
 

            Pond Ordinance – Consensus of Planning Commission to keep old ordinance in
            effect.  Motion by Silk to leave pond ordinance as is.  Seconded by Acciavatti.
            Motion carried. 

            Private Road Ordinance – M. Boulier we have been discussing this ordinance for some
            time now.  I would like to see something in writing that we could look at and decide if we
            want to accept as is or change it, either from MTA or Metro Planning.  Short – asked if
            Brian Bayly if that is something he could do – Yes – he could bring something back to
            the next meeting.  Silk – the Township Board is content with the ordinance the way it
            was.  Maybe we could just add a maintenance agreement to the old ordinance.  Concerns
            regarding a shared driveway.  Motion by Cataldo that we add a road maintenance
            agreement to the old private road ordinance subject to our attorney approval.  Seconded
            by Silk.  Motion carried unanimously.

Reports: 

            Township Board – H. Silk – Turned down tree removal on Vine Rd., approved
            installation of  posts on new bike path to prohibit vehicles, extend assessor contract,
            DPW services extended, decided not to install new fence at access on River Rd.,
            will disband the constable position, install a cross-culvert on Neuman and
            Kennedy Roads. 

            BZA – Frank Short – No meeting

 Call from the Table: 

            Acciavatti – I would like to see a map of where the proposed fire hall will be. 

            Next meeting scheduled for April 8, 2010 – 7:00 p.m.
