Michigan Works had created a program this summer with part of the allocated stimulus monies from the Federal Government.  St. Clair Township had the privilege of working with some of the area students through this program.  The list of tasks performed by the youth are listed below. 

Projects worked on:

Painting inside of Township Hall
Planting a garden to the North of the building
Planted flowers at North end of building
Painted fire hydrants throughout the township
Installed new roof on pavilion at the park
Spread new cushion mulch at park
Helped assessor measure houses for verification of records
Helped some area senior citizens with yard work
Clean area ditches
Create two Township signs
Township Park Cleanup
K of C Hall Cleanup
River Road Park Cleanup
Power-washed Township Hall
Painted Picnic Tables
